New house–new curtains!

Erika and her family has been moving to a new house. The size of the windows of their new home are not the same as the windows they had in the previous home. So Erika wanted to sew new Christmas curtains for the kitchen. Here is Erika's very nice design. It is super cute, looking like the Swedish ginger bread cookies. She did stitch the appliqués with a tear-away stabiliser behind the linen fabric. The stitch is one of the appliqué stitches.

Finally she added the ric rac ribbon with a regular straight stitch. She did draw a line with the white fabric marker to have as a guide line and then stitched the straight stitch using a transparent B Foot.
She is very talented and she loves colors! Here is the curtain in her family's new kitchen. Well done!
