"Three generation shirt" quilt!
Posted by Lena Kantis
Eva-Britt has been saving shirts for several years to be able to create a quilt for her son Hugo. The shirts has belonged to Hugo, his father and his grandfather. It will be a quilt full of memories!
The pieces are cut 15x 15cm (6x6"). The most fun part that I like a lot, is the way she has cut out some details of the shirts, such as labels, pockets and seams. Here are pictures of the details.
Barbara did sew a baby dress for a friend that had gotten a new baby girl. She used some of the scraps in her stash. The details are so beautiful.
Kerstin, had gotten a stain on her blouse and could not wash it out. Here is what she did instead!
I am on vacation in Rhodes, Greece. Here are two pictures, my favorit beach and me sitting on the porch working a little. Next week I am back in Sweden and the office!
Until then Happy Sewing!
