Mittens with Heart Decoration

Sew warm and cozy mittens in wool, fleece or an old knitted sweater. Make them extra heart warming by embellishing them with a heart.
We used the free download pattern “Simple Felted Wool Mittens” found at the Purl Soho website. Here you will find supplies, pattern and fully illustrated instructions on how to sew your own cozy mittens.
Decorate your mittens with a loving heart. Use the Yarn Couching Feet Set (item no. 920215096) and fluffy red yarn. Embellish your mittens when the front pieces are done, before sewing them to the back pieces. Sew half a heart on each mitten.
Finish your mittens following the Purl Soho instructions.
