Designer I Update

Here you can download the latest version of the Designer I update.  The update version now posted on our site includes all earlier updates.

This service is available to all Husqvarna Viking Designer I owners with a PC and Windows 95/98/NT, 2000, ME and XP, who are connected to the Internet. You can always ask your authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer to update your Husqvarna Viking Designer I.  

Great news for Designer I owners!  You asked for it!  New Stitches!

The new Deisgner I update, version 2.1 for both Designer I and Designer I USB owners includes 8 special quilting and embellishment stitches (E57-E64).  Many of these great stitches were suggested by Designer owners.  Plus the herringbone stitch (N37) requested by quilters for joining batting pieces when the batting edges are butted together.

With the New 2.1 update, the embroidery arm, when calibrated will also calibrate the optical hoop sensor. This will be at the end of the embroidery arm calibration and there will be an extra jerk and a new sound.  No fear! Your Designer I will recognize all your hoops without difficulty!

***Please also note - you must have the hoop off the machine when you calibrate the arm, or it will not calibrate correctly.
