One exciting upgrade is the ability to plug a mouse into the USB port. Now, Designer SE enthusiast can easily navigate and move quickly through the Interactive Designer Screen.
Better yet, the new Embroidery Design Resize feature lets you change the design size from 50% smaller up to several times larger quickly and easily, with a touch and a drag. The Resize feature recalculates the number of stitches in the design. Smaller designs have lower stitch count, and larger designs have higher stitch count than original design size. Choose from two fill type options, retain fill type and default fill type.
“These new features show consumers just how dedicated the engineers in Sweden are to making a sewer’s wishes come true,” says Sue Hausmann, senior vice president for Husqvarna Viking. “They are constantly developing new features to make the Designer SE more exciting and fun.”
Every detail is taken into consideration as the Designer SE evolves. Wonder whether your needle will stop up or down? Now there will be no doubt, as the Set Needle stop position is now indicated by an up or down arrow on the Interactive Designer Screen. The Designer SE updates also include new support for Twin Needle Safety, which tells you when a stitch is too wide for the set twin needle. The stitch width automatically adjusts to fit your setting.
For those who love to embroider, there are Designer SE updates perfect for you! The Designer SE leaves nothing to chance. It will tell you the amount of available machine memory. The Designer SE is always one step ahead.
The Designer SE updates also make embroidery easier by showing you the entire hoop area in 3D background when you select the Mega Hoop. Your hoop position is also highlighted. In addition to showing the hoop area in 3D, a perfect hoop size is now yours as well. The new Designer SE updates support the 5” x 7” hoop. A picture-perfect sized hoop requested by you to make enhance your embroidery experience.
With the Designer SE, lettering is more fun and functional. For your added convenience, the font name of a selected style will appear in the programming window.
