Potholders for Easter!

Skrivet av Lena Kantis
For a long time I have been thinking of sewing new pot holders, as the one´s I have is very old and very used. This week I finally created a new pair. It all started when I found two embroidered blocks in my sewing room, in my stash of fabrics. It has been there for almost 10 years. I know that because it was 2005 I went to Paris with Mr Kaffe Fassett who is the designer of the embroidery card is #82, "Garden of Delights". The designs are very nice and with fantastic details. I finished my blocks with a strip of bright green and the binding and backing in petrol.

There are many options on creating a pot holder, if you do not have an embroidery machine, for instance you can have a small piece of printed fabric for the center block and sew it in the same way as the one I did.
I wrote the word on pinterest.com, and found a lot of beautful pot holders. I am sure you will find a pair that you will like if you take a look there.

If you hare using our on-line embroidery catalog, and find the text below the picture where it it says, buy now. It is the link to  myembroideries.com, where you can buy that specific embroidery or embroidery collection.

Here are more Easter projects , that you might like.

At home I have been embroidering on my Designer Diamond Royale, Markus my cat is overseeing the embroidering.
