Graduation quilts

A popular American tradition is to sew a special quilt for high-school graduates. The quilt is a reminder of the years gone by, and will be taken along to college later.
This quilt is extremely personal and can contain everything from embroidered pictures of classmates to fabric from the high school football uniforms. Or bits of beloved old tees, jeans, jackets, caps and so on. The quilt can also feature the school colors of the graduate's alma mater.
A Northern Lights quilt designed by Sharlene Jorgensen, USA, and sewn by her daughter Angela Scott.
