Sew
2.    Sew the short end of a pink and a beige piece together as illustrated. Use the straight stitch and the Quilter’s ¼” Piecing Foot. Press the seam open.Continue with all pieces until you have 26 fabric strips.

3.    Take two strips. Place the pink ends, right side together in a 90 degree angle as illustrated below. Sew together with straight stitch and the Quilter’s ¼” Piecing Foot. Press the seam open.
4.    Take another strip and place right sides together with those recently sewn together (see below). Sew together with straight stitch and the Quilter’s ¼” Piecing Foot. Press the seam open.

5.    Continue to add the strips as described above, alternating sides as you sew.

6.    Once all the strips are sewn together, trim the piece to be 12½”x23½” (32x60cm).

7.    Fuse the batting to the backside following the manufacturers directions. Using a reinforced straight stitch, sew on each long side, about 1/2" away from the pink fabric.

Now the front piece for the pillow is done! Tomorrow we will show how to make piping and insert an invisible zipper
