Designer I Update

How to install the update file to your Designer I

1. Download the update Designer I software version to disk. (see section "Download files" explaining how to download).
2. Turn Designer I off. Insert the disk loaded with the new software version into the Designer I built-in disk drive.
3. Push in firmly and hold the start/stop button and the stitch re-start button at the same time. See illustrations. With both of these buttons firmly depressed, turn the Designer I ON (A).
4. The new Software version will install automatically. When you see a text on the Color Touch Screen, release the buttons.
5. First the Color Touch Screen will be blank, but soon the updating text will be displayed. When the Software version of the machine is completely updated, "RESTART" is displayed on the screen. Then turn off the machine and remove the disk.
6. Turn the machine back on and check the Software version number in the lower right corner of the Keeping the World Sewing Welcome Screen.
7. Enjoy the new features on your Designer I.

All new functions are explained in the User's Guide update files below. The files include instructions and illustrations. Just click on the pdf download files and print them out and add them to your User's Guide.

You can choose either to open the files temporarily on the server and print them out from there or save them permanently on your own hard drive.
