This update is available to all HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ sewing and embroidery machine owners.
HUSQVARNA VIKING® DESIGNER DIAMOND™ update version 9352-6275 (April 3, 2012):
This update corrects an issue with the foot control function: In some cases the foot control had to be released and pressed an extra time to start the machine.
Improvements and additions in previous update
- Support for new Mega Endless hoop, 260x150E
- Stitch length compensation to improve feeding over thick hems.
- Stitches J1:10 and J1:11 have been adjusted to avoid thread loops catching on presser foot.
- A centered straight stitch is automatically selected when Stitch Width Safety is activated.

If you have not yet installed the Embroidery Machine Communication, insert your Embroidery Machine Communication CD, (4D Organizer, 4D QuickFont) and follow the on-screen instructions.

How to update with USB cable
If you have not yet installed the Embroidery Machine Communication, insert your Embroidery Machine Communication CD, (4D Organizer, 4D QuickFont) and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Click on the link below to download the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
- Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click on the .exe file from your desktop to start the Update Wizard. You may get Security Warnings. Click Run to continue.
- The DESIGNER DIAMOND™ Update Wizard will start. Follow the instructions on screen.
- When the update is complete your DESIGNER DIAMOND™ will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 8 minutes.
How to update with USB embroidery stick
(requires version 8666-6176 or later in the machine)
- Click on the link below to dowload the update file. You need a file compression utility to open the file (WinZip or similar).
- Extract the .exe file to your desktop. Then double click on the .exe file from your desktop to start the Update Wizard. You may get Security Warnings. Click Run to continue.
- The DESIGNER DIAMOND™ Update Wizard will start. Follow the instructions on screen and be sure to select "USB embroidery stick" as the update method.
- When the USB embroidery stick is prepared the Update Wizard will tell you to move it to your DESIGNER DIAMOND™, start the update and follow the instructions on the Interactive Screen.
- When the update is complete your DESIGNER DIAMOND™ will automatically restart. Estimated time for the update is 13 minutes.
