Triple Border Placemat

This fun placemat is perfect for the upcoming Holidays. Choose a motif fabric for the center and a pretty border fabric and you are ready to go!

 

Supply List for one placemat:

 

  • Base fabric 21” x 15” (one rectangle per placemat)
  • 6 strips of the base fabric ¾” x fabric width (42”)
  • Insert fabric 18” x 12”
  • Warm & Natural batting 18” x 12”
  • Steam a Seam ¼” wide x 2 yards
  • 3 different color spools of decorative thread (Sulky 12wt Blendable or similar decorative thread)
  • 2 Cones of serger thread to coordinate with each of the decorative threads (6 cones in total)
  • All purpose sewing thread and bobbin to match the base fabric
