Cutwork Bread Cloth

Cutwork designs are typically done tone on tone.  Because you are cutting up to the edge of the stitching in some parts of the design, the cut edge will not be noticeable when the thread and fabric are the same color.  If desired, you can use a contrast color thread.  For our bread cloth, we used the same thread top and bobbin to make the cloth pretty on both sides, since both sides will be seen.
